Sebastian Pfautsch is a Professor of Urban Management and Planning at Western Sydney University. He is also the President of the Australasian Green Infrastructure Network. By combining his knowledge of urban planning, material science, plant ecophysiology and climate change, he develops evidence-based solutions that help cities adapt to rising summer heat. His projects won multiple awards for innovation, sustainability and technology, and his high-quality research is documented in 150 published works. He has generated more than $17 million in research funding and is listed in the top 2% of scientists worldwide (Stanford University and Elsevier).
